Cathy Samson

I started teaching at HPS September 2004. Currently I teach grade 6-9 Science, CALM, leadership and Foods. Student leadership is one of my passions and I enjoy working with teens to help develop their potential as future leaders. As members of the Alberta Association of Student Councils and Advisors and the Canadian Student Leadership Association, I have had the opportunity to attend the annual provincial and national conferences with many of our students.  Travel is another one of my passions. I believe that international travel is an invaluable experience that allows our students to grow and develop in ways that are not possible within the confines of a classroom. The people they will meet and the experiences they will have will have a lasting impact on how these young people view the world. As coordinator of our HPS Travel Club I have been fortunate to share this love with students.
