I am excited to be the Principal of Hughenden Public School. Over the years, I had the privilege of teaching in 4 different provinces (Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec) and to teach from grade 3 to 3rd year university students. It is with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics for Commerce that I became a teacher. I have a Master’s degree in teaching mathematics, focusing my thesis on the psychology of learning. My passion is to turn learning challenges into opportunities for growth for both my staff and my students.

On a personal note, I have been living in Wainwright since 2006. I love traveling and everything about Scotland. I am sharing my life with one great woman and I have been blessed with two great kids who are making their Dad very proud. Every weekend, you will find me in the forest with my dog, Twix and my cat, Steak and Guy, the gopher.
