I am the new Grade 5 teacher for the beginning of this school year at HPS. I am very thrilled to be teaching Grade 5 this year and getting to know each of the students in the school. I grew up in a small community in Macklin, Saskatchewan. I am currently in my third year of teaching and have some experience teaching elementary art to grades 1-9 and working with ESL students in Neilburg, Saskatchewan. I have also had the opportunity to teach Grade 1 for a few months and a full year of Grade 4 in Vermilion. I graduated from the University of Alberta in 2022. I am super excited to be starting this school year off at Hughenden Public School and look forward to meeting everyone!

A few of my favourite things include spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and spending time at the lake! I have always had a passion for working with kids, which all started at a young age when I began babysitting. I eventually started lifeguarding, teaching swimming lessons both at the pool and at different lakes around my hometown. I also enjoy organizing and running various pitching clinics during the softball season and coaching softball to different age groups! I am super excited for the school year to start and look forward to the upcoming school year.
