Miss Sarah Allan
B.R.I.T.E. Wellness Coordinator
Sarah’s role as a Wellness Coordinator is working within the Hughenden and Amisk schools for the B.R.I.T.E Program (Building Resilient Individuals Through Empowerment). As a Wellness Facilitator, Sarah’s role is to provide programming, education, support and awareness to students and families in all areas of wellness; she works with the school and community to create programs, activities, provide support and services to students and families as they grow to reach their wellness potential.
Sarah is originally from Riviere Qui Barre, AB but moved to Wainwright in the summer of 2018. Being from a rural town, she understands and appreciates how important all individuals within a community play a role. Her experience with Alberta Health Services Mental Health has not only given insight but also created a foundation of passion on the subject. The transition from health care to the education field was an unexpected and welcomed change. She looks forward to building rapport with students, teachers and community members as she branches into this opportunity.
